can i be qualified for bariatric surgery if i have a bmi of 28?
i have a big bulge in my stomach because of overeating. and no matter how much i tried to at least shave half an inch off, it still wouldn’t budge. i’m 5’5 and i weight about 170lbs. can i be at least qualified for the surgery? and how much would it probably cost?

No. I think only those Obese defined as having BMI greater than 30 or 35 are considered.
Most bariatric surgeons would not operate on you. The surgery is principally for patients whose obesity presents a major health risk, not just cosmetics.
