Does anyone know about bariatric surgery benefits with united healthcare?
I live in mo and just started a new job, my new health insurance provider in united healthcare. I was just curious to see if anyone knew whether or not they cover lap band procedures. I do know that the doctor is listed as being part of their network.

You need to prove with medical records that you have been grossly obese for 5 straight years and that you have been continuously involved in weight loss programs. UC will then still deny you which is why they are ranked as the worst health care provider in the US.
